QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer
(3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide)
Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year thousands of Americans, like you, are saying "Yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling, or neighbor. In this training, you will learn to recognize the warning signs of suicide, how to offer hope, & how to get help and save a life*
free online classes (pick one)
If you have a group of 3 or more people who would like to have a QPR online training scheduled at a specific time, please send a message to Lift+Love. We can work with you to schedule that.
This training is meant for those (18 or older) who are able to talk about and learn about the difficult subject of suicide, and who want to make a difference with suicide prevention. It is not meant for those who are experiencing despair, or who are currently at risk of thoughts of suicide. If you, or someone you know, is considering suicide, please call the National Suicide Prevention hotline 9-8-8
